Who Should Apply
You're a strong candidate if you're:
- A career switcher with quantitative skills looking to move into AI engineering
- Coming from math, physics, or adjacent fields and frustrated with your current trajectory
- A CS grad who learned theory but lacks practical engineering skills and market readiness
- Currently underemployed or blocked from opportunities despite having the raw ability
We're looking for people where this program specifically changes outcomes. We’re not a program that just adds a line to an already strong resume.
Selection Criteria
Applications are evaluated on four equally-weighted factors (0–5 scale each; average ≥3.0 recommended for merit consideration):
1. Commitment & Availability
Can you dedicate the time required to execute? This is intensive.
2. Aptitude & Background
LinkedIn/CV, projects, portfolio submission. We're assessing technical foundation & learning velocity. If you’re not technically skilled, are you a good learner?
3. Trajectory, Impact, Need
How does this program specifically change your career outcomes? We prioritize applicants where this is a genuine unlock, not incremental.
4. Program Fit
Does our curriculum and placement approach align with where you're headed?

FAQ
Why does this program matter?
It’s no secret that the job market (even for engineers!) is simply crazy right now. Knowing how to code is not enough to be hired. Our program turns people into people who are coders, yes, but also teaches them how to network, how to display their portfolios, and how to be employable.
Can I apply if I'm not sure I can commit to the full program?
No. Only apply if you're confident you can execute on the time commitment. We're selecting for people ready to go.
Can I defer my merit award to a later cohort?
No. The award is for Spring 2026 enrollment only. We’ll run this again for our Summer 2026 cohort.
I have a non-traditional background. Should I still apply?
Yes, if you meet the aptitude criteria. We care about capability and trajectory, not credential box-checking.
